Sketches on life in India – the Bhagavad Gita travel diary
When I arrived in Orissa, while solo traveling in India, I found a small little book and decided to use it as my sketchbook. Only later did I found out that it was the Bhagavad Gita in Orissa script. (Available as fine art prints)
Many years later it was the Bhagavad Gita (by Kashmir Shaivite saint Abhinavugta) that kept me sane during an intense time when my mom was dying of cancer.
In these challenging times, I look forward to studying this text again with the Lakshmanjoo Academy (which I am part of) along with anybody who wants to join us online for this free Sangha offering. This a wonderfully practical and yet deep and ancient text that will give us guidance and stability in all the craze around us. Find out more…
Originals: oil-pastel and watercolor on paper of re-purposed book.
