metamorphosis and other happenings…

Seems like ages since I have been painting. We were hosting our annual study retreat and Birthday Celebrations and there was a lot of preparations and organizing, cleanups and catering to do. It was more an intensive study course with lots of practice: chanting, walks, good music, good food and for the final day we went to a concert…to meditate.

Now I am ready to retreat… into my cave/studio. Lots seems to haven happened since then and I am continuing on my letting go theme of transformation.

This unfinished paintings has been sitting for a while until I got inspired by a video and the spring air to paint the butterflies and hand emerging… still lots to do… (click to see larger)

also a sort of metamorphosis happening here it seems… not sure where this is going… still a long way to go…
