I am fascinated with magnolias. Their smell is almost intoxicating. Just one in the room. They change quite fast from snow white to a lovely brown and everything in between, the range of colors is amazing. It's a full live cycle in a day or so, flowering-dying. The one above was the second stage of the flower, when the pristine white was giving way to the first clear colors. I was playing with the color wheel and might have exaggerated a bit but really they are just so full of it. Next stage...
