See my paintings in Long Beach…
Join me this Saturday, May 22nd, 7:00pm for the opening reception of LarkGalleryOnline Show “Go Green”, which is part of the Second Annual Ecological Long Beach Festival. “Go Green” reflects this year’s Green Long Beach Festival theme – “Turning The Tide” towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly world. The participants of the exhibition present artwork that embodies the beauty and fragility of nature, the thoughtless human exploitation of nature and other interpretations of the theme of the festival. Some of LGO artists also use in their artworks found objects or waste materials, sending an environmental message and serving as an example of how new life can be breathed into discarded objects, rekindling a positive future by acting pro-active in the present.
Featured Artists of “Go Green” are Ariyana, Bryan Toro, Cassandra Tondro, Claudia Dose, Elisse Pogofsky-Harris, Gwenlyn Norton, Felice Willat, Helen Berger, Ione Citrin, Juan Rosenfeldt, Lark Pilinsky, Lisa Tomczeszyn, Marlene Struss, Young Summer.
Enjoy musical entertainment featuring Songs from Africa to Brazil performed by Pashyo (voc) & Sel Sarkin (piano) and Rome Yamashita (guitar, voc) from SangomaBeat at 8.30 pm.
