Silence speaks (listening to the inner voice)
This painting comes with a lot of history.
The mat surrounding the painting is from a Jacquard fabric that I designed (way back working in Switzerland). The pattern becomes more visible when the light is shining at a particular angle.
The frame goes even further back in time, to my school days while interning with a carpenter. I so badly wanted to be a carpenter, and I was so distraught that it didn’t work out because they didn’t have bathrooms for girls, arg! German rules. Oh well, glad that it lead me to where I am now, and who knows where else the way is leading . . . as I am listening to my inner voice.
acrylic, mixed media on board on fabric on wood panel, framed,
10 x 7.5 inch (25, 4 x 19, 3 cm) , 17 x 13 inch ( 43 x 33 cm) with frame.
